[origin: EP0878272A1] A motor axle (M) for driving the tool drive spindle runs inclined to it and is coupled with it by an angular gearing which has a bevel wheel (14) mounted coaxial with the tool drive spindle (5) which extends through the bevel wheel. The bevel wheel drives the spindle through a gearing (19) mounted in the housing behind the bevel wheel. The teeth (13) of the bevel wheel are directed forwards. The gearing is preferably a planetary gearing whose sun wheel (20) and planetary supports run coaxial with the drive spindle with the bevel wheel driving the sun wheel.
