Abstract (en)
The chain tensioning and safety mechanism comprises a crankshaft driven by an output shaft (5), a centrifugal clutch and a chain (16) mounted on a guide (8). A first plate (1) backed against the face (2) of the chain guard is oscillated by a shoulder on the guard. The shoulder is located around a circular opening (4) for the passage of the crankshaft shaft. The plate has on its median axis opposite this opening two studs (6,7) between which is a curved opening which delimits its oscillation. The plate drives during its oscillation other parts of the mechanism by the intervention of the studs. These other parts comprise the guide chain, a second plate (9) which carries a triangular tension piece (23) which moves with a stud (30) the guide chain from its oscillation point. A rotor stop (19) has an articulated arm and a tie rod (45) carrying pads (36). These stop components engage together to stop the chain automatically.

Mécanisme pour tronçonneuse actionnée par un moteur thermique avec un vilebrequin qui entraîne par un arbre sortant (5), un embrayage centrifuge doté d'un rotor (19) et une chaîne (16) tournant sur un guide (8) , comprenant une première platine (1) adossée sur la face (2) du carter, côté guide chaîne . Cette platine (1) oscille sur le carter , autour de l'arbre (5) par un épaulement, et est maintenue avec une vis à large tête (11) lors de son oscillation vers le haut ou le bas . La platine (1) entraîne par le biais de tétons (6 et 7) les autres organes à savoir : un guide chaîne (8), une deuxième platine (9) qui porte une pièce de tension (23) triangulaire qui éloigne avec un téton (30) le guide chaîne de son point d'oscillation , de façon à donner une tension permanente à la chaîne . Un moyen d'arrêt du rotor (19) placé autour de ce dernier est muni de bras articulés et de tirants (45) qui actionnent une pièce circulaire (42) portant des patins (36) . Les éléments du moyen d'arrêt coopèrent ensemble pour asservir la chaîne (16) placée sur le guide chaîne (8) , de manière à la stopper automatiquement . <IMAGE>
