[origin: DE19719624C1] Rubber/varnish blanket (6) cylinders are separated from the machine's drive mechanism by means of a coupling. The cylinders have blanket-tensioning pieces in cylinder-ducts (9) facing the printing cylinders (7,8). The cylinder-ducts contain sheet-guide elements (10) in the form of plates or tongues, or as blow-pipes connected to air-blowing connections on the cylinder's end side.
