Abstract (en)
This new machine winds pre-stretched film from a supply spool, onto a reception spool. Either or both are driven. A novel feature is relative axial movement of the spools, effecting periodic variation in the position of the film edges with respect to the axis (5) of the reception spool. The movement is such that the edge profile (21) of the spooled film, is caused to exhibit a frustrated- or near conical profile. Also claimed are: the corresponding method of spooling to produce the conical profile described; and the spool of film, formed by the winding process.

La présente invention se rapporte principalement à une machine de bobinage de films, à un procédé de fabrication de bobines de films pré-étirés et aux bobines de films pré-étirés obtenues par ledit procédé. Le procédé de bobinage de bobines (38) de film (36) étirable pré-étiré, selon la présente invention, assurant une oscillation du film ayant avantageusement une composante perpendiculaire à l'axe du film. On effectue, par exemple, lors du pré-étirage et du bobinage du film sur les mandrins de réception, une oscillation de la bobine d'alimentation, c'est-à-dire de la bobine sur laquelle est prélevé le film étirable à étirer et/ou du mandrin de réception (17). On assure ainsi un décalage des couches successives de films, notamment au niveau des lisières (21) de la laize. Les bobines de films ainsi obtenues présentent un film sans surépaisseur et moins tendu au niveau des lisières (21) de la laize que les films pré-étirés de type connu. La présente invention s'applique principalement au suremballage par un déroulage manuel. <IMAGE>
