The valve or throttle unit (1), for fibre suspensions, has a divided hollow body (2) forming the hollow zone (2.1) so that, after opening, all the inner surfaces in front of the opening are accessible for cleaning without disconnecting the valve from the feed and/or outlet channels. Also claimed is an operation where the valve or throttle remains connected to the feed and outlet channels while a further opening in the valve housing is opened. The unit to change the cross section is removed from the housing, and the original inner surfaces are accessible for cleaning.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Ventil- oder Drosselvorrichtung (1) für eine fluide Strömung, insbesondere eine feststofführende Strömung, insbesondere eine Stoffsuspension oder Siebwasser einer Papiermaschine mit einem flüssigkeitsdurchströmten Hohlkörper (2) mit einer Eintritts- (3) und einer Ausgangsöffnung (8) und einem Mittel zur Veränderung eines Strömungsquerschnittes (4) im Hohlkörper. Die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der, den Hohlraum (2.1) bildende Hohlkörper (2) derart geteilt ist, daß nach seinem Öffnen alle vor dem Öffnen innenliegenden Oberflächen zur Reinigung zugänglich sind, ohne daß das Ventil von seiner Zu- und/oder Abfuhrleitung getrennt werden muß. <IMAGE>
