Abstract (en)
A safety net for catching persons or objects during building and/or assembly work consists of a mesh cloth (2) which has quadrangular meshes and is made of mesh rope (3). An edge rope (4) is drawn from mesh to mesh through the edge mesh (5) of the safety net. The edge rope (4) is provided with load-bearing structures to permit a lateral fastening of the net. Each mesh rope (3) forming the net edge (6) is surrounded, together with the edge rope (4), with a rigging yarn (7) over the whole of the edge (6). The corners (9) of the net incorporate edge rope loops (11) each of which comprises a rope grommet (12). The mesh rope and the edge rope can consist of polyamide and the rigging yarn of polypropylene.

Schutznetz (1) zum Auffangen von abstürzenden Personen und/oder Gegenständen mit Netztuch (2) aus Maschenseil (3) mit im wesentlichen rechteckigen Maschen und im wesentlichen geradem Maschenverlauf. Das Schutznetz weist ein Randseil (4) auf, das von Masche zu Masche durch die Randmaschen (5) des Schutznetzes (1) gezogen ist, welches Randseil (4) zur seitlichen Befestigung des Schutznetzes an tragfähigen Konstruktionen vorgesehen ist. Das den Netzrand (6) bildende Maschenseil (3) ist jeweils mit dem Randseil (4) über im wesentlichen den gesamten Netzrand mit Takelgarn (7) umtakelt. Das Randseil (4) ist an den Schutznetzecken (9) durchstichfrei mit den Eckmaschen (10) verbunden und an den Schutznetzecken (9) sind Randseilschlaufen (11) ausgebildet, welche Randseilschlaufen (11) jeweils eine Seilkausche (12) umfassen. Das Maschenseil (3) der Eckmaschen (10) des Netztuches (2) ist zusammen mit dem Randseil (4) an der Seilkausche (12) befestigt. <IMAGE>
