Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0878619A2] the arrangement has a feedback line with a feedback control valve, a gas conc. sensor in a section of the induction system directly connected to the engine and a controller which evaluates the sensor signal and controls the feedback valve. An induction line (1), a suction line (11) and the feedback line (10) open into a mixing chamber (7). The exhaust feedback line (10) and the suction line contain gas concentration sensors (8a,8b) for quantitative measurement of the proportion of one or more exhaust gas components in the fresh gas fed into the engine and in the exhaust gas.
