Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9729028A1] A device for dispensing a fluid material from a container (1) provided with an opening is disclosed. The device comprises a member (2) movable between an inoperative position in which it seals the opening of said container (1), and an operative position, means for connecting the inside of the container (1) to a material discharge channel (10), and an actuating member (6) for moving said member (2) into the operative position. Said member (2) is sealingly slidable in the container (1) so that the material is driven out through said discharge channel (10), and comprises sealing means (5) engageable with the member (2) in the inoperative position in order to increase interference between the member (2) and the container (1) and thus completely seal said container (1). The actuating member (6) comprises means (7) for moving said sealing means (5) to reduce the interference between the member (2) and the container (1) so that the member (2) moves with little friction into its operative position in the container (1).
