Abstract (en)
The folding carton has a number of contour folding lines (26) parallel to the edge fold lines (24) and between them and one and/or both side wall sections (18). They have an outwards convex curvature. The base (30) has a base tab (30.1) shaped at the inner leading wall section (16), and a second tab (30.2) shaped at the rear wall section (14). The first tab (30.1) has a folding line (34) to give inner (32.1) and outer (32.3) tab sections for the inner section to be folded inwards and the outer section to be folded outwards by 360 degrees and the outer tab section (32.2) is bonded to the second base tab (30.2). Or, vice versa, the second tab (30.2) has a fold for bonding with the first tab (30.1).

Eine Faltschachtel (10) zur Aufbewahrung und zum Transport von Waren, insbesondere Kosmetika, mit einem Packungsmantel mit einem äußeren Vorderwandelement (12), einem Rückwandelement (14), einem inneren Vorderwandelement (16), einem zwischen dem äußeren Vorderwandelement (12) und dem Rückwandelement (14) bzw. dem Rückwandelement (14) und dem inneren Vorderwandelement (16) jeweils vorhandenen Seitenwandelement (18), das über Randfaltlinien (24) an die angrenzenden Elemente angeschlossen ist, einer über eine Faltlinie (22) angeschlossener Deckeleinheit (28) und einer über eine Faltlinie (20) angeschlossene Bodeneinheit (30) ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Bereich zwischen den Randfaltlinien (24) eines und/oder beider Seitenwandelemente (18) zumindest mehrere parallel zu den Randfaltlinien (24) verlaufende Konturfaltlinien (26) vorhanden sind, so daß die Querschnittskontur des Seitenwandelements (18) einer nach außen konvex gekrümmten Querschnittskontur angepaßt ist, wobei die Bodeneinheit (30) als Automatikboden ausgebildet ist. <IMAGE>
