[origin: EP0879782A1] The input device (1) has a unit for receiving and converting acoustic commands and a display unit for visually representing the acoustic command input. The input device has a device for command input independent of the lift system in terms of time and position. The input device is portable. It has a control unit (14), keyboard (4), display (3), audio unit (15), a memory (16) for data storage and a first transmitter or receiver unit (11) which can connect to a second transmitter or receiver unit (10) in a fixed call-up terminal (7).
