Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0879931A1] Motor vehicle locking device has a central electronic controller (12), a boot opening device with a lock (14) operated by a motorised actuator (16), and a device for receiving (18) and recognising a primary identification signal (C1). The controller is a central locking controller which oversees vehicle locking and unlocking. An auxiliary electronic module (20) positioned adjacent to the lock and motor actuator is activated by a secondary signal code (C2). This code is received by the receiver and transmitted to the module (2) which then causes the actuator to open the boot.
