[origin: EP0879962A1] The gear machine, as a motor or pump and the like, has a damper to reduce the pressure swings in the spaces (26) between the meshing gear teeth. On a raised pressure in the zones (26), the damper gives an extra space volume and dampens pressure peaks. The dampers are placed in the walls defining the tooth meshing zones (26) within holding recesses (27,28).
