[origin: DE19608042A1] A UV filter lamp is proposed for tanning devices, with a high-pressure mercury vapour lamp (15) mounted in a housing (12) or glass bulb in the form of a rotation paraboloid. The inner region of the bottom part of the housing or glass bulb is coated with a reflection layer and the top section of the housing or glass bulb consists of a high-quality UV filter (13).
