Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0880904A1] The cigarette comprises a tobacco rod (20) with a core (22), a core sheath (23), a casing (21) and a casing sheath (24). A multi-part ventilated filter (10) is also provided, and consists of a filter sheath (16) and at least two segments in series, at least one of which is a coaxial filter segment (13) with a core (15), a core sheath (17) and a casing (14). The ratio of the drawing resistance (DR) of the rod core (22) to that of the casing (21) is greater than 1, preferably 2-4.
