Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0881075A1] The operating unit (2) may be used by the operative for the operation of a motor-powered section of a printing press, and especially a sheet offset press. The operating unit may be fitted to the moving section (1). When the operating unit is activated, a control (S) generates preset movement commands for the drive (3) to move the section in a set pattern. An evaluation unit (A) determines the nature of the movement actions required from the operating unit, to set the action of the control (S) accordingly.
