Eine Stufe für eine Fahrtreppe oder Palette für einen Fahrsteig weist eine Trittfläche (12) mit einer Vielzahl sich in Fahrtrichtung der Fahrtreppe oder des Fahrsteiges erstreckender Stege und Nuten auf. Eine sich quer zur Fahrtrichtung und über die Stufen (10) erstreckende Verstärkung am hinteren Rand der Trittfläche (12) ist als Fachwerk (22) ausgebildet und die Stufe (10) ist aus einer glasfaserverstärkten Mischung aus Polycarbonat und Polybutylenterephtalat aufgebaut ist. <IMAGE>
