Use is claimed as a cleanser for hard surfaces or skin (especially as a hand-washing paste) of an anhydrous composition comprising (by wt.) (A) 19-50% surfactant mixture containing (i) 40-80% room temperature liquid ethoxylated fatty alcohol of formula R<1)<-OC2H4)n-OH where R<1> = 10-20C alkyl or alkenyl and n = 1-8; and (ii) 20-60% room temperature liquid ethoxylated/propoxylated fatty alcohol of formula R<2)<-OC2H4)r(-OC3H6)p-OH where R<2>, r and p are not defined; (B) 1-10% 10-22C carboxylic acid or alkali salt; and (C) 49-80% water-soluble component which is in powder-form at room temperature and which has average particle size below 200 (especially 5-120) im (sic). Also claimed are cleansing pastes containing (A) - (C) and having a pH (as a 1wt.% aqueous solution) of either (i) above 12 (especially above 12.5) or (ii) below 10 (especially below 9.5).

Die Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung eines im wesentlichen wasserfreien Mittels, mindestens enthaltend 19 bis 50 Gew.-% eines Tensidgemischs, mindestens enthaltend 40 Gew.-% bis 70 Gew.-% eines bei Raumtemperatur flüssigen Tensids der allgemeinen Formel I R<1>(-OC2H4)n-OH worin R<1> für einen Alkyl- oder einen Alkenylrest mit 10 bis 20 C-Atomen und n für Werte von 1 bis 8 steht, und 20 Gew.-% bis 50 Gew.-% eines bei Raumtemperatur flüssigen Tensids der allgemeinen Formel II R<2>(-OC2H4)r(-OC3H6)p-OH und 1 Gew.-% bis 10 Gew.-% mindestens einer C10-C22-Carbonsäure und/oder deren Alkalisalz, und 50 Gew.-% bis 80 Gew.-% mindestens eines bei Raumtemperatur pulverförmigen, wasserlöslichen Bestandteils mit einer mittleren Korngröße von weniger als 200 ìm, vorzugsweise weniger als 150 ìm und insbesondere von 5 ìm bis 120 ìm, als Reinigungsmittel für harte Oberflächen oder als Hautreinigungsmittel, insbesondere als Handwaschpaste.
