[origin: EP0881303A2] Drier for tanned hides consists of multiple work tables containing condensers linked through vacuum valves (2) to a chamber (3) with at least one condensate outlet (4) and a cyclone (5) which is connected in turn to filter and vacuum pump groups. The chamber has inner partitions with condenser tubes supported by vapour guides. These have the effect of cooling the vapours, converting them into water which is discharged automatically through the condensate outlets (4). The vapours which penetrate through the vacuum valves impinge on an inner partition and lose speed as they are converted into water, while any residual vapour is condensed by the tubes which have cold water passing through them, with the cyclone dealing with any remaining vapours and solid particles.
