Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0881431A2] The burner has at least two hollow conical parts (1,2) boxed together in the flow direction with their centre axes offset and each having on their inner walls spaced guide bodies (50) which are in active connection with the combustion air (7) flowing into the interior space (8) formed by the two parts. The guide bodies have in the longitudinal direction of the burner a variable inflow angle relative to the burner axis. The ratio between the spacing of the individual guide bodies relative to each other and the width of the tangential air inlet channels (5,6) is approximately 1.
