[origin: EP0881620A1] The display unit consists of a series of flexible (11, 12) and rigid (3, 5) tubular components articulated to a central support (24) and engaging with the upper and lower edges of display panels made from sheet material so they can be rolled up when not in use. The rigid tubular components (3, 5) form tripod supporting feet for the central support (24) and holders for the lower ends of the panels, while the flexible tubular components are in sections joined by connecting sleeves (29) and have inner elastic cords. The free ends of the flexible components hold the upper ends of the display panels.
