[origin: EP0881713A1] The locking mechanism structure has an outer locking ring with a flexible arm section (31) which slides forward on an outer cylindrical section of the male part (6) of the connector. In the released locking mechanism position, the male section slides onto the corresponding female part, and an inner indent (21) in the outer section click fits into a corresponding female part. The outer locking ring pushes forward to prevent flexure and thus release of the outer cylindrical section.
