[origin: DE19604090A1] The invention concerns an arrangement for automatically determining the weight of items of post, the device comprising a feed and channelling device (1, 2) for the items of post and a plurality of weighing systems (WS1, ..., WSn). According to the invention, in order to measure a continuous stream of items of post, the feed device (1) is connected to a distributor (3). Adjoining the distributor (3) is a plurality of conveying paths (TS) via which the items of post can be fed to the weighing systems (WS1, ..., WSn). Further conveying paths (TS') are provided for subsequently feeding the items of post to a combining arrangement (4) and the channelling device (2). The items of post are permanently grasped as they are conveyed on the conveying paths (TS, TS') and the weighing systems (WS1, ..., WSn).
