[origin: WO9731158A1] The invention relates to a piste milling device which has a milling frame (2) for attachment to a piste machine. At least one milling shaft (4) having at least one milling member (3) is rotatably mounted on the milling frame (2). To prevent the milling shaft (4) from being damaged and/or driven by obstacles on the piste as far as possible, and at the same time to facilitate maintenance of the piste milling device, said milling shaft (4) has at least one milling member (3) on one lower end section facing a piste surface and is mounted on the milling frame (2) to be rotatable above the lower end section.
