[origin: WO9747881A1] A pump comprising a chamber (11) and a transducer (8). The chamber receives a medium (26) to be pumped. The chamber has first and second ends and an inlet (1) and an outlet (5). The transducer (8) is disposed at the first end of the chamber and provides an energy wave within the medium (26) which imparts momentum to it whereby it passes through the outlet (5) by the momentum.
