[origin: EP0882836A2] Method of crosslinking fibrous cellulosic materials comprises treating natural or regenerated cellulose fibres with reactive aliphatic or (hetero)aromatic compound(s) of formula A-ÄRÜn (I). In (I), A = a colourless aliphatic or (hetero)aromatic group; R = a fibre-reactive group; n = 1, 2, 3 or 4; ÄRÜn contains NOTLESS 2 fibre-reactive groups. Also claimed are (a) the treated material; and (b) aqueous solutions or dispersions containing compound(s) (I).
