Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0882849A2] The wall module has a rectangular hollow structure comprising front and rear walls and end wall. The module is open at the top and bottom edges and the end walls are extended upwards at the top edge to locate into recesses in the lower parts of the upper modules. The lower parts of the modules have additional end walls, offset inwards, to stack onto the lower modules. The modules can be made of wood. Each module is fitted with hand grip holes (11) for simple assembly. The operator stacks the modules manually, without need of a hoist. The modules are secured by end connectors top form an interlocking wall. The hollow spaces can be filled with thermal insulation.
