Abstract (en)
The fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine has a high-pressure fuel pump (5) through which a high-pressure fuel container (8) is supplied with fuel. Pipelines (15) lead from the container to electrically controlled fuel injection valves (14) on the engine. The valves extract fuel from the container and bring it to the engine for injection. The pressure in the container is controlled by a regulating valve (11) and a filter (17) is located between them. The clear width of the cross-section at the filter is smaller or equal to half the clear width of the outflow cross-section of the regulating valve.

Es wird ein Kraftstoffeinspritzsystem für Brennkraftmaschinen vorgeschlagen, daß einen Kraftstoffhochdruckspeicher (8) aufweist, der von einer Kraftstoffhochdruckpumpe (5) mit Kraftstoff versorgt wird und der über ein Druckregelventil (11) auf einen vorgegebenen Druck regelbar ist. Zwischen dem Druckregelventil (11) und dem Kraftstoffhochdruckspeicher (8) ist ein Filter (17) vorgesehen. <IMAGE>
