[origin: EP0883129A2] The memory device has one or more electronic read/write or RAM components (2.1,...), a carrier (30) for mechanically fixing the component, address inputs (4), a read/write input (5) and a data bus connection (6). The RAM component(s) each have two interfaces (12,17) arranged at the RAM input and output and each with address bus, data bus and read/write connections (14-16,18-20). The address bus, data bus and read/write connections of the input interface are internally connected to those for the output interface for passing the signals through.
