[origin: DE19651650A1] This invention concerns a jet pump, in particular, for delivering fuel from a fuel from a fuel tank of a motor vehicle. This jet pump has a pump chamber (16), an impeller (24) rotating within the pump chamber (16), and two parallel side walls (17, 18) separated by a space which form the boundary of the pump chamber (16). In one of the parallel side walls (17, 18) a slot-like side channel (26) opening to the pump chamber (16) is located which stretches concentric to the pump axis between its starting point (261) and its end (262). To improve the efficiency of the jet pump, an additional pump inlet (30) is provided for connection a fluid return line (13) which opens directly into the side channel (26) at a certain distance from the channel end (262).
