Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0884008A1] The applicator consists of a support (3) with a tip (12) for separating and holding an individual lock of hair, and a head (4) which is used to pick up the hair product, e.g. a colourant, and apply it to the separated lock. The applicator head (4) is located on the end of an arm (2) which is connected by a hinge (A) to the support arm (3) so that when it is folded over it applies the product to the supported lock. The applicator is moulded from a thermoplastic material selected from polyethylenes, polypropylenes, polystyrenes, polyvinyl chlorides and polyethylene terephthalates.
