The article of furniture has two metal, preferably aluminium, profiled pieces (1) each with a longitudinal groove (10) in which is fixed a metal, preferably sheet metal, or wooden cross-piece (3). The cross-piece may support a wall of the piece of furniture, or a side of a shelving unit as base for a shelf, or may possess connections for other wardrobe elements. The profiled piece has a compartment for bolts, threaded bars or threaded pins. The cross-piece has an aligning piece (35).

Es wird ein Möbel, insbesondere ein Schrank, Kommode oder Regal vorgeschlagen, welches im wesentlichen senkrecht verlaufende Möbelelemente mit Profilen aufweist, wobei das Möbelelement zwei Profile besitzt und das Profil je eine Nut besitzt und eine Quertraverse, die in der Nut befestigt ist, die Profile miteinander verbindet. <IMAGE>
