[origin: EP0884070A2] A connection arrangement comprising first and second components (1,2), such as duct parts, made of fire-resistant materials and coupling means for connecting the first and second components (1,2) together. The coupling means comprise a male member (4) connected to or forming an end part of the first component and a female member (5) connected to or forming part of the second component (2) and defining a socket in which the male member (4) is received. The male member (4) has a substantially even wall thickness which is substantially the same as the width (d) of the socket. The depth (H) of the socket is at least several times greater than the socket width (d). <IMAGE>
