[origin: EP0884265A1] The indicator (4) comprises an 'up' arrow (10) and a 'down' arrow (11) which light up when the cabin reaches a floor. The indicator is positioned on the door frame (3) of the door to the floor, and covers the vertical edge (13) of the door frame. The indicator is fixed to a mounting frame forming the door frame together with the base frame. The directional arrows of the indicator with one cover (12) per arrow are positioned on a front (14) and inner (15) side of the door frame.
