Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0884465A2] The matching method involves acquiring a number of individual cylinder running noise values over an observation interval for each cylinder. The acquired values are sorted corresponding to their size. The mean value, according to the sorted values, is then compared with a zero value. The injection quantity is increased if the mean value is less than zero, and reduced if the mean value is greater than zero. The injection quantity is increased or reduced in fixed adjustable units per control loop.
