[origin: EP0884481A2] The pneumatic position regulator has a regulating circuit with a pneumatic positioning drive (10). The positioning drive has a positioning component (12) in the form of an operating rod, which couples the positioning extent to the component to determine the throughflow of the valve or slider. The lift movement (H) of the positioning component is imparted to one end of a pressure spring (16), by a curve gear with exchangeable curve discs. The other end of the spring loads one arm (18a) of a two-armed lever (18), which is pivoted in the centre. A pressure or force converter (20) with a membrane (22) activated by a theoretical value pressure (Psoll) presses on the lever arm, but in the opposite direction to the spring load.
