[origin: DE19714651A1] The switchgear (10) has a tilting toggle (14) and a housing (12). The tilting toggle actuates contact points, each with a moving contact and several stationary ones and coupling terminals. There are several contact points formed by miniature keys (20) and/or contact springs (28), which are both sequentially actuable. The miniature keys and/or switching contact springs are located in the housing in mutually offset manner. Preferably the switching toggle is fitted with two switching cams or plungers on both sides of the toggle axis and spatially associated with the miniature keys etc. One cam or plunger of a pair may be elastically sprung.
