Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0884806A2] The secure plugging mechanism has a male (2) and female (1) part. Each plug and socket unit has two parts to it (6,7;9,10). There is a retention mechanism (23) with a prevention shoulder (15). In a first position, the retention mechanism holds the plug and socket in place. In a second position, the plug only partially plugs into the socket, but does not make contact.
