Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0884927A2] The switching element has a switch which can be actuated by two physically separate actuating elements (13,32). The first actuating element (13) is a thermal expansion element which actuates a snap switch (26). The second actuating element (32) is an electromagnetic element which also acts upon the snap switch and which contains an electromagnet (33) which preferably has a relay flap armature.
