Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0885576A2] The backrest (5) is attached to an upwardly aligned lever (6) which is connected under the seat plate at a first connecting point (63) to the seat support (3)( and at a distance therefrom at a second connecting point (64) to the underneath of the seat plate. The length (L) of the lever between the two connecting points is adjustable by moving the first and/or second connecting point in the direction of the lever. The first connecting point is formed as a lockable element displaceable infinitely or in steps in a guide in the seat support (3). The second connector is a locally fixed swivel bearing mounted on the underneath of the seat plate. The lever can be locked detachably against displacement.
