The rollers (R1-R40) of the conveyors are positioned so closely together, that any goods not positioned correctly in a container (B1) are still supported by at least two rollers. These goods are not held by the track guidance aids (F1), but are moved into a collector located next to the rollers of the conveyor. The roller conveyor is of double-row construction, and the collector is located between the rows. The rollers within the two rows may be driven at different speeds, and can be at different angles relative to the direction of transportation. The rollers may be covered by a surface material, which can have a higher friction factor relative to the goods than relative to the container material.

Wenn Briefe in Behältern (B1, B2) gefördert werden, besteht die Gefahr, daß einzelne Briefe aus den Behältern (B1, B3) auf die Förderstrecke fallen und dann manuell im System wieder eingeschleust werden müssen. Durch Schrägstellen von Rollen (R2 bis R13 und R16 bis R39) eines Rollenförderers werden die Briefe quer zur Transportrichtung der Behälter (B1, B2) in einen Auffang (AG1, AG2) abgesondert, während die Behälter (B1, B2) durch Seitenführungen in Transportrichtung gehalten werden. <IMAGE>
