Abstract (en)
The fixing unit comprises a lever-operated suction cup (1) which can be stuck to any smooth surface, such as bathroom tiles or a window, and has a projection (5) lying parallel to its diameter to receive a bar (9) for the drying rack's supporting hooks. The end of the projection is flat and perpendicular to the surface to which the suction cup is attached, and has an insert (8) with a threaded hole for a fixing screw (14) holding the bar (9) in place. The suction cup is fixed to a smooth surface with the bar situated horizontally above it, and the drying rack is then fitted with one end against the supporting surface and held up by hooks going over the bar.
