Abstract (en)
The method involves, in preferable operating conditions, controlling safety facility monitoring such that it interrupts the fuel supply. A fault is identified if a signal which characterises the fuel pressure, rises. The operated condition exists with the switching-off of the IC engine, and a pressure regulating facility is controllable in the sense of a pressure rise. Within a first time duration, no monitoring results, but after which the pressure regulating facility is controllable based on a further pressure increase.

Es werden ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Überwachung eines Kraftstoffzumeßsystems, insbesondere eines Common-Rail-Systems, beschrieben. In bevorzugten Betriebszuständen wird das Sicherheitsmittel derart angesteuert, daß es die Kraftstoffzufuhr unterbricht. Auf Fehler wird erkannt, wenn ein Signal, das den Kraftstoffdruck charakterisiert, ansteigt. <IMAGE>
