Abstract (en)
The tearing strip (4) extends across the web of paper and has its free end fixed to the empty drum (12) onto which it is spirally wound. The paper web is divided at this point, with a carriage (52) displaceable sideways outside the empty drum and in the direction of the empty drum's axle and crosswise to this axis. The carriage has a retainer (62) for holding the tear-strip and consisting of a suction piece which is controlled by a vacuum source connected to a suction pipe (63). A pressurised air nozzle (66) moves the tear-strip.

Vorrichtung zum Unterteilen einer Papierbahn, welche auf eine rotierende Trommel aufgewickelt wird, für den Übergang des Wickelvorganges auf eine rotierende leere Trommel (12] unter Verwendung eines Reißbandes (4), welches sich quer zur Papierbahn erstreckt und dessen freies Ende an der leeren Trommel [12] befestigbar ist, wodurch es auf dieser schraubenlinienförmig aufgewickelt wird und hierdurch die Papierbahn unterteilt, mit einem in Richtung der Achse der leeren Trommel [12] seitlich außerhalb derselben und quer zu dieser Achse verstellbaren Schlitten [52], an welchem eine Einrichtung [62] zum Festhalten des Reißbandes [4] angeordnet ist. Dabei ist die Einrichtung zum Festhalten des Reißbandes [4] durch eine Saugeinrichtung [62] gebildet, welche durch eine über eine Saugleitung angeschlossene Unterdruckquelle steuerbar ist [Fig. 1]. <IMAGE>
