Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0887301A2] The ends (9a,9b) of the cable (9) joining the support and the running rail (1) are detachably joined by a connecting element (10) consisting of two joined wedge locks (12,13). One wedge lock (13) is turned by 180 degrees in relation to the other wedge lock so that the cable ends coming from opposite directions are diverted round the wedges (18,19) of the wedge locks contrary to their entry direction. The cable ends are returned by the wedges and are clamped at least under load. Each wedge lock consists of a base plate (11) on which is a pocket (14,15) with a wedge-shaped interior.
