Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0887463A2] The de-watering unit, is used on a running felt belt of the papermaking industry. It employs centrifugal force in a region of convex internal curvature. The novelty lies in the nozzles (6) distributed over the width of the belt, which direct jets onto the felt. Also claimed is a papermaking machine pressing section comprising pressure rollers. One is inside the endless felt belt. A de-watering unit of the type described is employed.
