Abstract (en)

The system, comprising a motor (MT) with a transmission member (28) connecting it to a lock assembly which can be set in active and inactive positions so it prevents or permits the movement of a lock bar, incorporates a deactivator (54,64,66) to free the transmission member and permit disengagement of the lock assembly outside its active position. The deactivator is designed to break the mechanical coupling between the motor and lock assembly and allow the lock assembly to return freely to its inactive position by gravity. Its disengagement mechanism comprises a notch (66) and a lug (54), one on the transmission member and the other coupled to the motor to drive the transmission member.
