Bei einem Drallgeschoß (1) mit einem splitterbildenden Gehäuseabschnitt (5) sind Stützelemente vorzusehen, die ein Beschädigen des splitterbildenden Gehäuseabschnittes (5) durch die Züge (11) des Waffenrohres (10) vermeidet. Hierzu weist das Drallgeschoß (1) neben einem hinteren Führungsband (3) einen vorderen Führungsring (4) auf.
