Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0887839A2] The gas discharge lamp has a ceramics gas discharge envelope (25) with 2 opposite ends fitted with seals through which respective conductor leads (9,10) are fitted for supporting the gas discharge electrodes. The conductor lead at at least one end of the gas discharge envelope is provided by a cermet pin with a metal content high enough for it to be welded, with direct sintering to the end seal without use of a glass solder.
