[origin: EP0887896A2] The plug-connector for electrically connecting two circuit boards, includes a multiple plug with a number of blade/knife contacts arranged in a given pattern and a matched edge connector with several resilient contacts, in which both the blade- as well as the resilient-contacts are connected via insertion pins to the circuit boards. The insertion pins are arranged in the given pattern. With the multiple plug, one or more knife/blade contacts (17,18) are arranged transversely via a blade-body (10,11) transversely to the insertion pins (16) arranged in a row. With the edge connector (3,4) one or more flexible contacts are arranged transversely to the insertion pins arranged in a row, via a spring-clip (12,13), in which the number of knife/blade contacts (19,20) is equal to or greater than the number of knife/blade contacts (17,18).
