[origin: DE19611014A1] Proposed is a method of manufacturing free-flowing washing or cleaning agents with a long shelf life by a granulation method in which water is used as a granulation aid. The aim of the invention is to minimize the danger of lumps being formed by the water and also to ensure that, even during the drying stage, no lumps form and no efflorescence of any non-ionic surfactant present occurs. This is ensured by use of a granulation method in which the granular material obtained is additionally treated, before or during drying, with an aqueous solution or aqueous dispersion of one or more non-surfactant washing- or cleaning-agent constituents.
